A Smile For Bow
A Smile For Bow is an uplifting documentary that follows the journey of the little girl named Bow from Thailand. Bow was born with fetal alcohol syndrome, a condition that caused major deformities in her face. On top of everything, she was also born with HIV. Now a teenager, the other children in school are beginning to bully her due to her facial deformations. Director Robert Corna sets out to find a hospital that can give Bow a new face, and a new lease on life.
This heartwarming film has recently had screenings at The Berlinale and Cannes. While in Cannes, Director Robert Corna received the, "La Colombe d'or de la Paix" award from The Diplomatic Council.
Director Robert Corna takes us on a journey through the excitement of The WorldCup to examine what makes the fans so crazy about the world's most popular sporting competition. This film is also an experiment in crowd sourcing footage from all over the world and is considered to be an "interactive" documentary. Narrated by Danny Glover, Tiny Tears is an inspirational feature documentary that focuses on children in Thailand, Uganda, Brazil and America who’s lives have been affected by HIV/AIDS. The film shows how hope can be born out of tragedy.
The World Premier for this film occurred at The United Nations in New York.
Tsunami: The Renewal is a one-hour documentary shot in Thailand two months after the devastating 2004 Tsunami. The film focuses on the reconstruction efforts of volunteers who built houses, repaired fishing boats, and constructed schools in an effort to help those affected by the tragedy.
Italy's Forgotten Earthquake Narrated by Danny Aiello, Italy's Forgotten Earthquake focuses on the 2009 earthquake in Abruzzo. An earthquake that killed many and displaced more than seventy thousand people. Through this documentary, we hope to show the tenacity of the people of l’Aquila and its surrounding towns to recover its historical and cultural legacy.
